Whenever I’m home, I will be pampered with good food that’s for sure… plus the things that I enjoyed very much is that I don’t have to worry about parking space or crowded restaurant because mydaddy will tapao it back which explained why I didn’t include any address because I dunno the exact location but I can ask if you want to know… *red face
I wouldn’t say they are the best but it is decent enough to keep us going again and again…
Let’s see what I’ve ate during my last two trip back home, shall we…
Popiah, my all time favorite snack priced at RM3.20 for two (minumum 2). Rolled up neatly topped with a layer of chilli or sweet sauce. I like the crunchy biscuit and the flavorful soft sengkuang.
The fact that mydaddy went to three different places to tapao for dinner melt my heart.
#1 Claypot lou shu fan at RM5 which is a tad too peppery for my liking.
#2 Claypot chicken rice at RM5, nicely done with an extra kick from chinese sausage and salted fish.
#3 Bak kut teh with xtra beancurd skin at RM9. I have never like bak kut teh bcoz of the herbs smell but I’ve grown to luv it minus the leaves (forgot what it called)
As for lunch, we had
#1 Belacan kangkung at RM6.50, xtra 50sen for takeaway
#2 Sweet and sour chicken at RM10. It has the right balance of sweetness and sourness.
#3 Asam prawns at RM16, my favorite among all. It was sourish and wasn’t too spicy and the prawns meat were succulent. *drooling
Claypot glass noodle with crab at RM50 for four persons. The overall flavor depends highly on the freshness of the crab and as for the broth, it has the peppery taste.
Alright, that’s all for now..
