As a token of appreciation for all the hard works done for the quarter, mydaling was awarded USD25 to spend on a meal. It ain’t less but not much for food galore for two. lol~~ After squeezing our brain figuring where to spend it, we finally decided on Lala Chong which serves pretty good seafood.
There are both air-con and alfresco dining
However, it may be a lil annoying dining outside as when you are busy savoring, the mosquito is also busy sucking your sweet blood!!
As it name reflect, the must order dish is of course siong tong lala aka lala in superior soup at RM10. The soup was well flavored with chinese rice wine with an extra kick from the ginger shreds and bird eye chillies. Fresh lala does all the magic and best serves piping hot.
Boring with normal stir-fry vegetable?? Try their another signature dish – paku pakis with tuna at RM12. Sound kinda weird but it actually taste good. Imagine stir-fry paku pakis with belacan mixed with canned tuna and Voila~~
The last dish we ordered is the spicy and sour crab priced at RM45 per kg and for that, we got 2 and a half crab. A lil disappointed though because the crab isn’t that fresh and is a lil lacked of egg in the gravy.
Next to the premise is a satay stall run by a malay couple and they would go asking from table to table. For RM7, we got 10 sticks of chicken satay. Nicely grilled but not the best I have had.
We left the place with a bloated stomach 😀 Thank you!!!
Total bill was RM80.30 minus the satay for two which includes a pot of tea, ice cubes and rice.
