It was another lunch outings and we decided to head to Dengkil for nice stewed pork but sadly, no stewed pork. 😦 Only got bak kut teh and the owner recommended us snakehead fish or better known as “sang yu” in chinese. We hesitated at first but since we were already there, so OK.
He assured us that it will be very nice with the sliced meat cooked with ginger and soy sauce and the remaining will go to the pot but we’ll have to wait coz he need to kill take out the bones, sliced the meat, cook the meat, cook the bak kut teh and bla bla the fish first. So, we waited for a good 20-25 minutes and tadaa…..
the fish meat….. fresh and tasty…
This is by far the best combination of fish and pork… The broth was surprisingly yummy and sweet when stewed together with the fish bones and some remaining meat.
Total bill for 4 pax was Rm48 inclusive of 4 chinese tea and 4 rice and unlimited supply of ice cube. 😀 The fish alone cost Rm35.
