continued from here……
Talking about Taipei Main Station, this is how big it is with exit at each side, namely north, south, east and west exit.
This is our 1st pit-stop, City Inn Hotel. A lil small but clean because it is still new and cheap as in cheaper than other 3 stars hotel… Normal day at NTD1690 and peak day at NTD1820 for CityInn Suite. (1 double bed both at discounted rate) Ohh, and they offer free laundry too at level 2. Location wise, very very convenient. I’ll tell you why later.
Basically a 13×13 cubic room. I would say it is more suitable for backpackers or couple because it’ll be a lil too cramp for family.
Complete with LCD TV and free WIFI. If your lappie can’t detect wireless, bring cable. They have network port.
Almost the same square feet with Genting 1st World Hotel if you have been there before you’ll know… lol!!! got hair dryer, don’t have to bring…
They’ll provide all the basic necessities. Got free snack somemore.
2. MRT Taipei Main Station for blue and red line (M5 – just outside south exit and in front of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi)
3. Taipei Bus Terminal where we boarded the bus to Yehliu (mostly to small town area)
4. Taipei Guo Guang Terminal where we boarded the bus to TaoYuan International Airport (mostly to big cities such as KaohSiung, Nantou, TaiChung, PingTung, Tainan, etc)
OK, you have had a glance of how the hotel looks like and how convenient it is. So, if you are planning for a trip to Taipei and it is within your budget and you don’t mind sleeping in a 169sq room, this is how to get there:
We were suppose to find the landmark Shin Kong Mitsukoshi but it is not within our sight reason being we are at other exit. To ease your pain looking and my pain explaining, see photo below:
If you are taking bus from Tao Yuan Airport, they will drop you at Taipei Railway Station. Look for South exit, opposite the exit will be Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. Cross over to the light brown building. See the arrow?? Go straight until another junction, turn left and you are in HuaiNing Street. You’ll see CityInn signboard as you walk nearer. Get it??
Address: No.7, Huaining St., Jhongjheng District, Taipei 100, Taiwan (R.O.C.)
next, YehLiu & Jiufen….
