Instead of romantic candle light dinner, mydaling bought me to Jing Thai for errr… Thai cuisine – the name itself is self explanatory
A hidden one in the vicinity of Seri Kembangan.
Alfresco style. We were seated at the end overlooking a pond.
To start off, fresh coconut (which was fresh but old) at RM4 and barli at RM2
What we ordered next could actually feed four persons but there are just two of us.. glutton – Hahahahaaa!!
We decided to give green curry chicken a try, priced at RM12. It’s a lil creamy and was not near to our liking.
Deep fried squid at RM15 was nothing to shout about. The batter was like any other you can find out there but undeniable the squid used were really fresh.
Having thai food without tomyam soup ain’t complete, I reckon. The tomyam seafood soup at RM13 consists of three fresh prawns, two mussels, fish fillets, button mushroom and oyster mushroom. It’s sourish with a tinge of spiciness.
The last dish we ordered is thai style lime steam fish topped with lotsa garlic and red chillies. The fish was fresh and it’s absolutely mouth-watering with an extra kick from the lime juice. Priced at RM4 per gram, the whole fish costs us Rm36. Poor baby was perspiring profusely and needed a glass of ice water at RM0.50 to cool his tongue…
Total bill was RM89.80 inclusive of 5% service charge, reasonable I would say considering the portion that we got.
