Taiwan day 6 – escape from the hustle bustle in the city and immerse in a place of beauty. That’s our objective going to Kenting We are going to relax deeply whilst enjoying the sound of rolling wave and gentle sea breeze. *grin Sandy beach, here I come….

Checked out at 11am and headed to the MRT station for a ride to HSR Zuoying station (R16) where our hotel shuttle bus will be waiting for us at exit 3 bus stop at 1:50pm for NTD400 per person (buy 1 free 1). Since it is still early, we decided to have our lunch at the station. Bought 2 “bian dan” from 7-11.

At 1:40pm, we happily took the escalator down to the bus stop and while exchanging thoughts on how nice the sea view and how luxurious the hotel will be, we got a shock when we saw the shuttle bus. Guess what….

if you haven’t notice, look at the front tyre…. PUNCTURED?? YES!!! and it puncture only when it reach here.. WTH~~~ Another delay (how can!! we are anticipating for the beautiful beach le) and the driver is nowhere to be seen. He runaway?? NO la, he went to get some help but unfortunately it was Sunday and all shop is closed. The hotel claim that it will take around 1 hour 30 minutes to send another bus here, so it isn’t a good idea after all. Haih~~~ What to do? wait lo…

While waiting, saw this hensum angmoh which so happen taking the same bus to Chateau. Being 8, I started a conversation with him. It goes like this:

Me : You are going to Chateau also?
He : Yeah…
Me : Where you from?
He : (I forgot where) I’m actually working for Chateau and I’m here for an assignment. It’s bad things like this happen. I’ve contacted the hotel and informed them about this and I hope they are working on it.
Me : Uhhh, do you think we can get some kind of compensation like free buffet??
He : Ohhh, I don’t know but I will certainly offer it, if it is available.
Me : *smile -end of conversation-

Then he went to see what he can do… kept calling the hotel for the best solution. The driver is trying to take out the spare tyre and guess what… He is a replacement driver so he dunno where the hell the tyre is kept and when he found out, he dunno how to take it out!! got so bad luck or not…. 1st plane, now bus….arghhhh!!!!

Then the angmoh decided to help to get that blardy spare tyre out.

and then after few minutes, he also gave up…. it just stuck there… why la they keep the tyre at such an inconvenience spot.

We waited for 1 hour di, I guess the savior bus will arrive soon if they send another bus earlier. I think the MRT management know we are hot so sprinkle some water for us. Haha~~

Good things is instead of sending their own bus, they contacted Guo Guang bus to save us. Thank you very much, we finally boarded the bus at 3:30pm. The journey from Kaohsiung to Kenting took around 1 hour 30 minutes with 15 minutes stop for toilet break.

Finally, reached Kenting Chateau around 5pm. Picture taken on the next day.

We then proceeded to the check in counter and guess what…. They waved off the NTD400 bus transfer charges and we got a free buffet dinner each….. *big wet eyes muahahahahaaa!!! See… this is what I mean by 5-star hotel service kay…. angmoh rocks!!!

The room service and do not disturb switch. Out of curiosity, I switched on both – so, clean or do not disturb or clean but do not disturb?? How la??? hahahaa!!! *think
