continued from here….
After we unpacked our luggage, it was already close to 4pm and we are so damm hungry. So, off we went to Dream Mall, apparently the largest mall in Taiwan for lunch or late lunch….
To get there: Take the MRT (red line) to Kaisyuan station (R6). Wait for the mall free shuttle bus.
After 5 minutes, there you go…
with ferris wheel on roof top, one of the many attractions.
We explored the mall in search for the famous Japanese ramen but too bad, it is not within our sight. Frustrated, (because the mall is so damm freaking large and over hungry) we settled ourself in one of the restaurant in this Japanese food street.
Stewed beef in tomato sauce or something like that.
Steamboat set with
my favorite pork slice
yummy yummy~~~
After stuffing our bellies, we did some window shopping… Nothing much to shout, just like any other shopping mall except most of the offers are for winter items. Then we went to the highest level to the amusement park on the roof of the mall.
Kaohsiung eye at night with superb colorful lighting. Nice but it is super windy and cold. After spending like 45 minutes capturing the wonderful lighting, off we went to our next destination….
To get there: Take the shuttle bus back to Kaisyuan station (R6). Take the MRT to Kaohsiung Arena station (R14) and follow exit 1. The night market is just few minutes walk ahead.
1st reaction when we reach was…. WOW!!!! so damm crowded. We have to squeeze through the crowd and for those foodie or snack that are really famous, be prepared for a long looonng queue.
I love the strawberry milk…. Craving for it already….
Steamboat Taiwan style. Munching amid the crowd and stall.
Another favorite snack, dunno the exact name in english.. roasted duck meat with crunchy biscuit
We regretted not trying this until today…. Mongolian BBQ beef..
Looks very appetizing but because the queue was like dunno where is the end, we gave up. We thought we can go again but too bad, we never made it…
There are like 2 or 3 BBQ stall in every row.
Strawberry anyone??
Hmm… cold egg… Didn’t taste it. Let me know if you ate before.
Exhausted from all the walking, we ta pao-ed some foodie and adjourned back to the hotel homestay for a good rest for we have a full schedule ahead tomorrow.
Next, Lotus Pond and Qijin…
